Georgia State Continuing Education Program Site Approved by the Georgia Real Estate Commission
The Carpet Capital Association of REALTORS® School offers the Post-Licensure courses required by the Georgia Real Estate Commission. Real estate agents in the State of Georgia are required to complete one of the following post license courses within one year of licensure. These courses are offered on-line. Testing is required at the end of either course, and the agent must pass the testing with a score of 75% or better to maintian his/her license. Testing may be completed at the Carpet Capital Association of REALTORS® School located at 204 W Gordon Street in Dalton, GA. Please note that these courses provide 6 hours of continuing education credits.
Enrollment Procedures
Enrollment in the Salesperson's Post-License Course is quick and easy. Please see the following course descriptions for these courses. Each description includes an outline and costs involved.
You can complete your enrollment, and get started on your coursework immediately, selecting the course you have choosen for enrollment, use your VISA, Master Card or Debit Card, to begin the course.
Students are given six months to complete the course. Completion date is defined as date when test is taken and passed. You must successfully pass the test within the six month period or within any extension time that has been purchased. Two – 2 month extensions may be granted in extenuating circumstances at an additional cost of $50 per extension.
Salespersons 25 Hour Post License Courses
Advanced Topics for New Agents $170
This course presents topics the new agent will find helpful in working with clients. The course includes sections on property management, BRRETA (Agency Disclosure Law), and contemporary issues in the area of consensual dual agency. A thorough discussion of the tax implications and benefits of home ownership is presented; including required record keeping and an introduction to the subject of tax-free exchanges.
Finance and Settlement Prcedures $170
Everything from security instruments to the foreclosure process is covered in this post license course. Students will have and understanding of primary and secondary mortgage markets, sources of funds and the process of qualifying for and obtaining real estate loans. All of the procedures involved in settlement, along with practical exercises in real estate math are included.

No refunds will be given unless there are irresolvable technical difficulties. This means that you must have spoken with the company issuing the course, Computaught, and received confirmation from them that the course is unusable based on technical circumstances.
